Though by looking at his classic interface nothing seems to have changed, DAEMON Tools Pro has managed to excel itself once again.

With a new Virtual Burner, this imaging tool has added the possibility of emulating the disc burning process to its long range of disc image-related functions. Not only it can mount any image in a snap, but it can also create, edit, and convert all kinds of images, as well as protect those using secure TrueCrypt containers.

After searching for all existing images on your system’s drives and creating a neat catalog of all of them, these are listed into two main groups, Images, and Devices. In the Images section, you will find all ISO, MDS, VHD, ZIP, CUE, NRG, IMG, and MDX containers stored on your computer, while the Devices section lists all physical and virtual devices present on your disks. All of these image file formats can be easily converted into ISO, MDX, and MDS files to fit your preferences, as well as edited in the most straightforward way. You can also create a new virtual hard drive in a snap, defining its size, the way it will be mounted when needed (as an HD drive or as removable storage), the type (dynamic or fixed drive), file system, etc.
